I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me, they are the role model for being alive.

Soju is our 12 year old Korean jindo rescue dog. She had been unfortunately surrendered as a sick senior when we adopted her Easter 2022 at the local shelter. I had read about Korean jindos and never thought I'd find one locally. It seems to have been meant to be with funny  synchronicities: both adopted from South Korea and her name in the past was once Sweet Suzy. I adore and love the bond we share. She has become the perfect art muse. I started to paint her in small sketches to my largest painting yet! It's been so fun to learn and grow as an artist with her. She's been the spark to start this new life path of connecting with others over our mutual love of our soul pets. Let's celebrate your bond through art!
